In what must have been a total boner-kill, a man was mugged at knifepoint last night at a motel near 16th and Mission. The 44-year-old victim met a lady in her mid-20s at the motel and followed her up to her room, before her accomplice came in brandishing a knife, demanding cash.

After unloading his wallet, the victim managed to leave the scene without getting himself stabbed. Unfortunately for him, he was still without either cash or female companionship and the two suspects slipped away without being spotted. The lady suspect is only described as a woman in her mid-20s and the mugger was a man in his mid-30s. Without a more detailed description than that, we imagine these two con artist have gotten away with this one. In the meantime, be advised, frequent patrons of Mission Street motels.

Anyone with a clue about the two suspects' whereabouts ought to call SFPD's anonymous tipline at (415) 575-4444 or via text message to TIP411.
