Behold, James Hydrick ca. the mid-70s, who in this video appears to have been using the name Craig Murray, promoting his martial arts/telekinesis classes for children in Salt Lake City. (Look! He can make a leaf bend toward him! And turn a page in the telephone book with his mind!) Hydrick's "powers" later led to big fame on TV's That's Incredible! in 1980, but a year later his psychic abilities had been debunked. Nine years later he was convicted of molesting five boys, and he remains jailed in the California Men's Colony, as far as we know. [via Everything Is Terrible]
