San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts gets ready for Wednesday's big iPad3 party. Invites for the event were sent out last week, featuring and image and only these simple words, "We have something you really have to see. And touch."

While Apple has yet to confirm whether or not this is the gadget's official launch date, as opposed to being some sort of annoying soft-launch, the have yet to give any details about the next generation iPad. But...the new iPad3 could run on a faster chip, feature a 2048×1536 Retina Display (similar to the iPhone 4 and 4S), use better graphics, and appear even thinner than its predecessor.

Check back on March 7 for more details.
