DESIGN: Attention Design Geeks: At global digital design competition, Cut&Paste, sixteen 2D, 3D, and motion/animation designers will be putting their skills to the test for a chance to compete in the Global Championship in NYC. There will also be an audience design contest in which audience members will be challenged to sketch a clever concept to help charity:water bring water to those in need. MUSIC: Beer Week and Noise Pop mash it up at NightLife tonight, featuring sample brews from a big line-up of local masters, live music by Class Actress, tunes by Epicsauce DJs, along with a Painted Palms DJ set, and an exhibit of Noise Pop posters and photography from festivals past with many of the artists in attendance. FOOD: Learn all about why it's better to look for "pasture-raised" eggs as opposed to "cage-free" at Beyond Cage-Free, a panel discussion featuring Douglas Gayeton, creator of The Lexicon of Sustainability and two Ferry Plaza farmers who offer pastured eggs: Marin Sun Farms owner David Evans and Charlie Sowell of Rolling Oaks Ranch.
