A 30-year-old man, identified by SF Weekly as Derek Hall, was shot multiple times and murdered in cold blood last night on Osceola Lane in the Bayview. Two men, described as African-American wearing black hoodies, approached him and shot him in the chest and arm, and fled on foot.
He died at the scene, just after 9 p.m. The SFPD are seeking tips about this homicide on their anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or by text message to TIP411.
For those keeping track, this was S.F.'s 6th homicide of 2012.
