Polyamorous GOP balloon-animal Newt Gingrich appeared on The Today Show this morning and didn't have kind words to say about Baghdad by the Bay. When discussing Nancy Pelosi, who claims that she knows something that will keep Newt from becoming president, he had this to say about the House Democratic leader and her hometown, San Francisco.

"She lives in a San Francisco environment of strange fantasies and strange understandings of reality. I have no idea what’s in Nancy Pelosi’s head. If she knows something, spit it out. Tell us what it is. I have no idea what she’s talking about."

Without being specific, thus being annoying, Pelosi told CNN on Tuesday, "He’s not going to be president of the United States. That’s not going to happen. Let me just make my prediction and stand by it; it isn’t going to happen...There is something I know...The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him that’s their prerogative. I don’t even think that’s going to happen."

We're not sure what either of them are prattling on about, but we do know one thing: San Francisco is the future, whether you like it or not.
