THEATER: Independent Cabaret Productions and Shakespeare at Stinson will bring a "startling" rendition of Tony-award-winning musical Cabaret to the intimate Young Performers Theatre, a space much like the pre-World-War-II Berlin locale the story is based on, enabling the audience to experience "the dark, decadent world of Weimar Germany, a strange locale on the border of drama and burlesque, a place on the edge of civilization and of humanity itself."
