COMEDY: Father and son hip-hop duo, Prince Paul and his son PForreal, bring to the stage their concept album, Negroes On Ice, which explores hip hop, father/son relationships, and "the kind of senseless violence that is so senseless that it's funny." Best of all, the show is free and first-come first-serve, which means get there early! (8 p.m., Fort Mason Southside Theater, Bldg D, Marina and Buchanan)

MUSIC: Prominent local bands of various genres, including Cyril Jordan of Flamin’ Groovies, Chuck Prophet, Chris von Sneidern, and members of Magic Christian, and many more, will each perform their favorite cover song at the 15th Annual (and Final) One Night Stand. (8 p.m., Slim's, 333 11th Street)

ART: Root Division presents Are We Not Men?, a group show that coincidentally takes place the second night of Devo's stint at the Fillmore, emphasizes "the failures of humans in their attempts to make humans and computers indistinguishable, revealing that ultimately the 'perfect human,' whether it be made of flesh and bone, or circuits and algorithms, is the least human of all." (7 to 10 p.m., Root Division, 3175 17th Street)
