Oakland police are currently surrounding a house in East Oakland where they believe a suspect in the November 25 shooting that injured a San Lorenzo man outside the Wal-Mart in San Leandro. Police are looking to arrest Detwone Watson, 29, and they have already taken several people into custody this morning at a home on the 2700 block of 106th Avenue in Oakland. Watson was identified last week as the alleged shooter, is one of four suspects in the case accused of attempted robbery and attempted murder.

The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. on November 25 when victim Christopher Murillo went with his two cousins to the store several hours after it had opened early for Black Friday shopping. Unable to find the video game they wanted, they returned to their car, where Watson and his friends allegedly attempted to steal cash and jewelry from Murillo. In the ensuing scuffle, Murillo was shot in the neck. He was hospitalized and is currently recovering at home.

One suspect, Tony Phillips, a 20-year-old Oakland man who was arrested immediately after the shooting when shoppers pinned him down in the store parking lot, has already appeared in court. Watson and another suspect are said to have fled in a burgundy two-door Buick Riviera when Phillips was detained that night.

UPDATE: Watson has surrendered. [CBS]
