In the Tenderloin last night, a 50-year-old man was stabbed and critically injured after loaning his phone to a fellow rider on the 19-Polk. The knifecrime occurred near Turk and Hyde Streets around 9:30 p.m. when the suspect, a 20-something woman, asked to borrow the older man's phone and refused to give it back, Bay City News reports. When the victim snatched back the phone, the suspect promptly stabbed him in the chest and bolted down Turk Street.

The victim was taken to SF General to be treated for life-threatening wounds. Meanwhile, SFPD describes the suspect as "black woman around 20 years old who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds," with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown, silky dress. No arrests have been made yet, but if anyone who may have spotted the silky, stabby suspect is encouraged to call the SFPD anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or via text to TIP411.
