According to PG&E, strong winds will hit the Bay Area over the next two days. This could result in power outages and ruined hairdos. "The utility is anticipating some power outages if the wind storm produces the 60 mph gusts that weather forecasters are predicting," PG&E spokeswoman Tamar Sarkissian told BCN.
The National Weather Service also issued a high-wind warning for the Bay Area, which will be in effect for Wednesday and Thursday. (Also, look at this photo SF Appeal used for their high-wind story. Ack, we love windblown dogs! Ahem. Moving on.)
Customers reporting power outages should PG&E at 800-743-5002 for info. And, of course, you might want to carry a (nice) hat around with you this week just in case.
