Metallica, Lou Reed to Shoot Video in Bay Area With Darren Aronofsky

Metallica recently collaborated with the legendary Lou Reed to create Lulu, the recently released concept album inspired by the plays of German playwright Frank Wedekind (upon whose work Spring Awakening was based). Now, for one of the "massive" tracks on the album titled "Iced Honey," the band and Mr. Reed will be shooting a video in the S.F. Bay Area with acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream). The time and place of the shoot have not been revealed, for obvious reasons.

In any event, Reed hopes the video will be "his Black Swan." See a trailer for the album, which was released on Monday, below.
