Police are searching for a male suspect, believed to be between the ages of 16 and 18, who fled the scene of a Mission district homicide just before 2 a.m. last night. The suspect shot a 26-year-old victim several times in the back after a verbal argument broke out near 23rd and Harrison, before fleeing in a late-model green Subaru Outback.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead on the scene. The shooting is San Francisco's 43rd homicide this year.
