Way out in Delhi — that's Delhi, California, along Route 99 in the Central Valley — a pair of petty thieves broke into a barn and stole some CDs, which they likely hoped that could cash in for a few boxes of pseudoephedrine. Among the 50 discs they stole were at least 30 containing child pornography. So bothered were the thieves that they took the discs to the police, admitted their crime, and turned in the owner of the discs, Kraig Stockard — who had previously reported the CDs stolen. Stockard was arrested and charged with possession of child porn, and is currently out on bail.

Authorities have not pursued charges against the burglars, a 19-year-old and a juvenile, saying that their crime was "the lesser of two evils."
