A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Mission Street in the Excelsior district last night around 7 p.m. The male pedestrian was crossing Mission Street at Excelsior Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle headed north on Mission, the Examiner reports. The victim was taken to S.F. General where he succumbed to his injuries.
It is unclear whether the pedestrian had been in a crosswalk at the time of the incident.
