Yes, kids. Michela Alioto-Pier has some friends in high places, and last week we saw the announcement that Al Gore had officially endorsed her for mayor. The campaign announces today that the former VP turned climate-change preacher will be appearing at a campaign event with Michela on October 3 at an undisclosed location.
It's a fundraising event, $500 a head, and you'll be given the location, obviously, after you've paid. There's allegedly information about the event on this site, but we couldn't locate it. There may be more on her website soon.
Prior to her runs for public office, Alioto-Pier served as a policy advisor to Gore in the early 90s, and clearly he's still a friend.
