While we have at least a few more days of real summer weather, it's a good time to head down the coast to catch some fantastic art in Pacifica. The Sanchez Art Center is holding their third "50-50 Show" through October 2nd, a juried selection of artists from around the Bay Area who each made 50 tile-sized works of art in 50 days. Highlights include pen and ink drawings by Lisa Aksen, Goran Konjevod's intricate paper-folding, June Yokell's homage to Monet, Daniele Derenzi's sepia-toned photos of San Francisco stairways, and scores more artists working in a wide range of media. More images are here, but even better just head to the art center and see everything yourself.
