Local Internet Website Bold Italic Launching a Print Magazine

Noted locally focused Internet magazine and Gannett subsidiary, The Bold Italic announced today they'll be launching their first ever print edition net month with an ink-and-paper quarterly titled 25 Ways to Be a Local. We've (admittedly) been critical of both The Bold Italic and print publications in the past, so we'll reserve our judgement for the new quarterly magazine until it Volume One hits newsstands on September 12th. The paper mag will cost you three of your hard earned dollars, but if the site is any indication it ought to look pretty slick at least.

To celebrate the magazine's launch, the Bold Italicizers will be throwing a launch party at Gershoni Creative (an ad agency, natch) on Friday, September 16th in the penthouse of the Humboldt Savings Bank Building on Market Street. Additional details, we're told, will be popping up on their site shortly.
