MUSIC: Nashville's The Ettes bring their "up-front, fearless vocals, fuzz bass runs, primal, driving drums beats, searing guitar lines and of course, tons of black eyeliner and attitude" to the Rickshaw tonight, along with Hans Condor and The Bruises. (8 p.m., Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell Street)
FILM: Tonight's Wine and a Movie at The Mark feature is the Bogart classic Maltese Falcon, paired with some sort of Brancott & Ravenswood varietals. FunCheapSF notes that although this is a free deal, you might be pressured to buy something by the waitstaff. We can't say we blame them, so at least buy some bread to soak up the wine, cheapskate. (5:30 to 11:30 p.m., Top of the Mark Lounge, 1 Nob Hill)
ART: It's another night of live art-making at the monthly Sketch Tuesday, in which a great line-up of local artists create and sell pieces on the cheap, along with the fabulous Dr Sketchy's, featuring this month's model, high glam burlesque beauty, Alotta Boutté. (6 to 10 p.m., 111 Minna Gallery, 111 Minna)
