Cops Seeking Deplorable Post-Teenagers Who Attacked a Man With a Scooter

Cops Seeking Deplorable Post-Teenagers Who Attacked a Man With a Scooter

Last night around 10:30 p.m. a group of three men in their 20s attacked a 40-year-old victim in the Tenderloin by beating him with a Razor scooter on Ellis Street near Hyde. The victim had to be taken to SF General to be treated for a broken leg, but the suspects ran away (did one of them ride the scooter?) and have not been found.

Authorities don't have a better description on the three 20-something suspects, but if the Razor scooter website is correct, owners of the cheap aluminum scooters could be anyone from "hip city dwellers, action sports athletes, and celebrities, to kids, teens and adults." Eyes peeled!

And if you do have any information about the attack, you are encouraged to the SFPD anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
