A hugely successful and critically acclaimed production of Shakespeare's Richard III, originally produced at the Old Vic in London, is on its way to the Curran Theater in S.F. October 19 to the 29. The show, directed by Sam Mendes (who also directed Spacey in American Beauty) got raves and tons of four-star reviews in London papers, and it will be touring the world and hitting Beijing and Sydney before finally landing at BAM in Brooklyn.

Led by Kevin Spacey in the role of Richard III, the cast some acclaimed British and American performers including Maureen Anderman as the Duchess of York; Haydn Gwynne as Queen Elizabeth; Chuk Iwuji as Duke of Buckingham; Gemma Jones as Queen Margaret; and Chandler Williams as George, Duke of Clarence.

Tickets go on sale Friday, August 19, and will range between $35 and $150. See a preview below, which mostly shows a lot of British people standing outside the theater saying how good the play was and how amazing Mr. Spacey is.
