Chronicling the life of Vicki Marlane, a transgender San Francisco drag performer who died in July, Forever's Gonna Start Tonight will screen at the Castro Theater on Saturday, August 6. Peaches Christ (Joshua Grannell) hosts. Reason enough to attend. But this is the perfect chance to catch the life and experiences of Marlane, who was still performing at Aunt Charlie's Lounge in the Tenderloin well into her 70s.

Director Michelle Lawler will be in attendance for post-screening Q&A. Below a clip from the documentary, which isn't available on DVD.
