Tablehopper strutted her stuff on Folsom this week, checking out Sightglass Coffee Bar & Roastery. (We initially read that as a coffee and roasted chicken mashup, which for us sounds pretty damn divine.) She coos: "Brothers Jerad and Justin Morrison have been hard at work, and it shows. The enormous, light-filled, multi-level warehouse has a lot to offer: there’s the Probat roaster (and a counter) in the front, and the back has a large poured-concrete oval bar, with two sides that will be able to caffeinate your sleepy self. Yup, there will be a brew bar on each side, and two espresso machines: a Slayer, and a La Marzocco Strada EP, one of only six in the U.S." And judging by the decor and location, this place could very easily turn into SFist's satellite office. Michael Sager, the director of Locanda's "bar program," created the perfect summer cocktail -- or so says Sara Deseran. [7x7]

After locals get wind about the top 10 most kid-unfriendly restaurants, getting a reservation will be all but next to impossible. [SFoodie]

A16 launches Beer Month today. "We're pouring 2 of these brews by the glass every Thurs. night this July," they tempt. That sounds terribly hoppy. And terribly rad! But if beer isn't your poison, you should still check out A16. Really, it's one of the best food joints in town. [@A16, via Inside Scoop]

Bunrab ate the holy hell out of Chez Papa Resto in Mint Plaza. And it looks nothing short of spectacular. That said, does Chez Papa Resto have a big bar? We need to sit at a big bar if we plan on patronizing any, ahem, artisan restaurant. As we've said a scrillion times before, tables are dead; it's all about the bar. Anyway, if someone can get back to us about this, that'd be grand. Thanks. [Bunrab]

Cindy Pawlcyn's awesomely-named Go Fish in St. Helena failed to catch (ha!) on with the affected 707 set, so it will be renamed Brassica. Which, zzz. (The title, not the food.) The joint will also get a makeover. In te words of Exposé, seasons change, feelings change. Indeed. [Inside Scoop]
