SFist Tonight, 7/6: Jack Leamy, Tim Cohen's Magic Trick, "High As a Kite"

ART: The Tournesol Exhibition in association with Headlands Center for the Arts presents this year's Tournesol Awardee Jack Leamy's Bigfoot/Littlefoot, an intriguing collection of paintings that often feature his wife and son, portraying mythology that's "both idiosyncratic and universal in scope" and enact "both the personal poetic, and at times universal archetypes." MUSIC: Tim Cohen's Magic Trick, whom Flavorpill describes as "half art project half aural hydrocodone," headlines this month's Penny Arcade Music Showcase, along with a few other stellar bands. (8 p.m., The Make-Out Room3225 22nd Street)
