Four horrible teenagers, ranging from 15 to 17, were arrested following a series of brutal muggings in the Castro and near the Mission on Monday. The first robbery, reported at around 10:40 pm, happened near 18th and Sanchez streets. "The victim, a 37-year-old man, was approached from behind by the four teenage boys, one of whom grabbed him around the waist and demanded his property."
The victim's backpack, camera, iPod and bicycle were stolen.
The second incident, occurring a short time later at around 11 pm near 15th and Dolores streets, resulted in a stabbing. "That victim, a 35-year-old man, was also approached from behind by the four suspects, but in that case one stabbed him in the back."
The 35-year-old man was taken to SF General Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries
