  • The Giants did pretty well last night... if you don't count the miserable first inning when Bumgarner gave up 8 runs to the Twins in 25 pitches. The losing streak continues with a final score of 9-2. Meanwhile, in Fresno: Barry Zito had a two-hit shutout for the Grizzlies. Good for him?

  • Buster Posey was also hanging out in the dugout last night, although he was hiding his club foot. [@TenderSociety]

  • Some 2400 PG&E customers in SoMa and the Mission were without power yesterday evening. Blame the heat if you like, Pacific Gas and Electric, but these things are getting ridiculous. [BCN/Appeal]

  • Speaking of outages: Were you wondering where your local real estate and restaurant gossip blogs disappeared to yesterday? The Government accidentally hijacked Curbed Network's servers in New York, in an attempt to track down a group who hacked in to the Playstation network, so Curbed and Eater were offline all day yesterday.
