Police identified the body of the man who was discovered in the Marina on Tuesday as 20-year-old Dennis Knowlton. According to reports, police "have not released a cause of death, however police are saying the fully clothed man had multiple stab wounds." It is believed that Knowlton was killed onMonday night.

Found by a woman walking near a pier around 6:30 a.m., a blood trail, which "began in front of a post office on Buchanan Street," was found dotted across Marina Boulevard and into a parking lot and then toward the water.

Police also say that "[a] green Volvo parked at Buchanan and Bay streets that is believed to be related to the case."
