This morning around 7:35 a.m. a bystander near Sixth and Minna streets was shot after three other men argued on a SoMa street corner. According to Bay City News, the victim is suffering from life-threatening injuries and was taken to SF General. The suspects are thought to have fled in a vehicle. Police are still looking for surveillance footage from nearby businesses, but a witness who lives above the crime scene heard three gunshots before looking out her window to find a police officer bandaging the victim's head. The city-hardened SoMa resident told BCN that shootings in the neighborhood are "fairly common, but not at that time of day." [BCN/Appeal]
