Police made an arrest Friday in connection with slaying of a woman whose body parts were found inside a garbage bag in Sunnyvale earlier this month. "Feliciano Valencia-Santiago of Santa Clara was taken into custody Friday night as he was riding a bike, said Capt. Dave Verbrugge of the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety," reports The Chronicle. "He is being held at Santa Clara County Jail in the slaying of 46-year-old Maria Esther Orozco of San Jose."

Orozco died of blunt force trauma to the head.
