Loyal SFist readers will recall how we got a little worked up last week talking about how California ought to be made an early primary state, and now CBS has found themselves a Sonoma winery owner who up and moved to New Hampshire just so he could have a vote in a primary that actually mattered. His name is Brandon Stauber, and he sounds like a Republican, but we'll try to let that slide.

They say he moved to Exeter, NH because he was "fed up with California politics," and perhaps that also translates to being tired of living in a blue state that will, likely, always be blue -- though the Inland Empire, San Diego, and the Central Valley would certainly love to change that!

But this pullquote is pretty pertinent, if perhaps indicative of the fact that this guy is just a tiny bit of a starfucker: "Stauber never met a presidential contender in all his years in California — he only saw them on TV. In just nine months in New Hampshire, he’s met four." We'd still rather stay in California and whine, but that's just us.
