DANCE: Flyaway Productions premiered their new work, WALL BALL/throw yourself in, a "site specific dance for flying hula hoops, balls and jump rope propelling public school activism," at the Sunnyside Elementary School Yard Wall over the weekend. PHOTOGRAPHY: Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters and portrait photographer Tim Hailand will be at Books Inc.'s Castro location in support of their new book, One Day in the Life of Jake Shears, which was captured on June 22 2010 in London, following him throughout the day in black and white photos, in bed at St Martins Lane hotel, showering, at a BBC radio session, at lunch with composer Nico Muhly, Akiko, and Jonathan Pierce of The Drums, and then off to the famous Brixton Academy.
