SFMOMA Artists Gallery opens its doors in the beautiful Fort Mason Center tonight for the 18th Annual Artists Warehouse Sale, featuring over 7,000 square feet of space filled with artwork by more than 300 local artists -- at up to 75 percent off. The event runs through Sunday, and proceeds benefit participating artists, the Artists Gallery, and SFMOMA.
All types of media will be at the sale, including "paintings, edgy drawings, etchings, wood cut prints, black and white photography, mixed media, collage, color photography," and more, with prices starting at $35 and going up to $5,000.
On Sunday, the Artists Gallery will host a children’s art activity during the sale from 1-3 p.m., which will be led by local artist and art educator Gail Tarantino from the San Francisco Children’s Art Center. Check out the SFMOMA Artists Gallery's blog, or find them on Facebook and Twitter for more information.
