Mission District: Man Shot, Woman Stabbed

Early Wednesday in the Mission District, a woman was stabbed and a man was shot in two separate incidents. First, a little after 1 a.m. near Mission and 16th streets, a 27-year-old woman "got into a fight with a man who cut her on the leg with a machete and then fled." Later, at around 2 a..m at 17th and Mission streets, a 29-year-old man was shot. Both injuries are not life-threatening. No arrests have been made. [SF Appeal]
