Family and doctors of Bryan Stow, 42, of Santa Cruz gathered yesterday outside Los Angeles County USC Medical Center to update the press on the condition of the Giants fan who was brutally beaten by a two Dodgers fans in the stadium parking lot on opening day. According to MSNBC, Stow sustained "a severe skull fracture, bad bruising in both his frontal lobes and, according to his medical team, shows signs of "brain injury and dysfunction."

Stow's family revealed that, prior to the attack, he felt uneasy about his surroundings at Dodgers stadium. Stow "texted a relative to say that he feared for his safety," just minutes before he was attacked, according to LA Now.

While the LAPD continue to investigate, even more reward money is being offered up for information leading to the capture and arrest of the attackers. The LA City Council voted yesterday to approve a $50,000 reward, which brings the previous cumulative $50,000 to $100,000.

American Medical Response will host a fundraising barbecue for Stow today from noon to 8 pm at the their Santa Clara County headquarters at 1670 Las Plumas Avenue, San Jose.
