In a recent interview with Food & Wine, Yigit Pura, San Francisco-based pastry chef and winner of Top Chef: Just Desserts, revealed the name of his upcoming pastry shop. He shall chrsiten it Tout Sweet. Get it? It's a play on tout de suite, a French term "right away," you neanderthal. Pura says the new place will "take an approach like Ladurée's [the renowned Paris pastry shop] but a little more Americanized, with seasonally changing packaging."
We hope he hawks something with peanut butter and chocolate. Man, we love peanut butter and chocolate.
Pura goes on to mention his appreciation for Meryl Streep ("She is the most brilliant actress of our time, hands down"), macarons (mmm), Bjork (more like B-yuck, right?), and meditation.
