Nikki Calma, who has been behind the wheel at the SF Pride Committee since the former board president and executive director both stepped down back in October, announced that she is also leaving the all-volunteer board. Calma, or Tita Aida as you might know her, says she's resigning due to recent health issues and not the committee's ongoing financial problems.

Speaking of which, Supes Campos and Dufty had the city controller assess the group at the end of last year and found it to be $225,000 in the hole, so most of Calma's efforts were focused on making sure Pride 41 would still go off this year. Alex Randolph and Lisa Williams will serve as co-chairs of the board, and seem intent on paying back some of those bills at least.
