Man Found Dead From Gunshot Wound In North Beach

Police are trying to figure out why a man died in North Beach last night. After authorities were called to a Mason Street jewelry store, police found the body dead from a bullet.

CBS 5's Joe Vasquez reports via Facebook: "A man is dead at the Lyn Magnuson jewelry store at 2100 Mason Street. Police Chief Jeff Godown tells me it was a gunshot wound. Officers were conducting a welfare check and discovered his body in the residence beyond the front display area. Police are still not sure who killed him or why."
