The heavens just dumped a major load of hail on central San Francisco (as they also did last night). It appears to have melted almost instantaneously and everyone has gone back about their business. Expect Muni to collapse anyway. More rain is on the way through Friday, with some clearing by the weekend, and a breezy but sunny 55 degrees or so on Sunday.
