Fred's New Lite Supermarket Shooter Pleads Not Guilty

Sam Kazzouh, the man who allegedly shot a customer inside Haight Street's Fred's New Lite Supermarket on Feb 9, pleaded not guilty this morning to charges of attempted murder, assault with a firearm, and discharge of a firearm in a grossly negligent manner. If you recall, the shooting occurred after an argument about the victim's chihuahua. Kazzouh's next hearing is scheduled for March 3. [SF Appeal]
