See, it's headlines like that, Paolo Lucchesi, that get our heart strings zinging! (Say what you will about Florence, he's still the kind of guy you want inside you.) Alas, the two noted Bay Area chefs haven't ended anything on the romantic front - both are openly heterosexual - but they have parted way professionally.
"About five months after Fox came aboard as the Florence Group's creative director and helped open Napa’s Rotisserie & Wine, the two chefs have officially parted ways," Lucchesi reports. "It confirms rumblings that started earlier this month, when Fox launched his ambitious book project and pop-up dinner series."
Florence recently opened Wayfare Tavern (558 Sacramento) to much praise. Fox, who recent left Ubuntu, is in the process of finishing Seed To Stalk. Both know how to make a mighty fine sandwich.
