As many of you recall, four years ago in December of 2006, the nation was hanging onto every tragic detail related to the search for the Kims, a young San Francisco family of four who had disappeared in the deep and frigid mountains of Oregon.
A series of wrong turns and other heart-breaking twists of fate resulted in the death of James Kim, who, after several days of waiting in vain for rescuers to arrive, had left behind his family in search of help.
