The New York Times sent Carpetbagger writer Melena Ryzik on a tour through Pixar in Emeryville, and she gushes, "Pixar's about as a cool a place to work as anyone can imagine!" Why look at this, they have a pool table! And ping-pong! And a glass case to keep all their Oscars from getting dusty. Anyway, blah blah, Pixar's awesome, blah.
There's a whole video in which Melena wanders around, gushes, learns about animation, gushes some more. And she concludes, "Oh, man, animation is fun." Also, animation is hard. And sometimes Tom Hanks shows up. Riveting stuff, folks. [NYT]
