Had such a great time this weekend that you're counting down the days 'til the next one? Take it easy this week and rest up for the big SF Beer Week 2011, featuring over 250 events that include specialty tastings, talks, beer-pairings, dinners, and beer brunches.

The fest starts Friday with an Opening Gala at YBCA, which will showcase special-release, exclusive beers from over thirty regional breweries and will unveil this year's SF Brewers Guild collaborative beers. There will also be treats provided by local food purveyors with special beer pairings, and live music by Whiskey Pills Fiasco and Brothers Comotose.

Other big Brew Fest events include the 11th Annual Double IPA Festival at the Bistro in Hayward on Saturday, the 18th Annual Barleywine Festival at Toronado on February 19 and 20, and the closing-night Celebrator 23rd Anniversary Party at the Trumer Brauerei in Berkeley on the 20th.
