Yesterday afternoon, an 81-year-old woman was struck by a car as she was walking in a crosswalk on 17th and Guerrero Streets. The incident happened at around 3:30 pm. "Police said the woman had been walking in a crosswalk at the intersection when the driver of a vehicle turned left on a green light and struck her," reports BCN. She is in critical condition.
