Oakland 2nd Graders Allegedly Had Oral Sex In Class

In a story that's sure to jolt you awake this morning, the Oakland Tribune reveals: "A second-grade teacher has been placed on administrative leave amid an investigation into a report that two of his students engaged in oral sex during class and that, on a separate occasion, some children took off some of their clothing and were clowning around."

The alleged incidents happened at Markham Elementary School (7220 Krause Avenue). A student told a teacher's aide of the acts on Wednesday. "While some of the details remain vague -- such as when the two incidents occurred, and if they happened at the same time," Oakland school district spokesman Troy Flint said. "We believe the substance of the story is true."

A letter was sent to parents on Thursday informing about the investigation. For what it's worth, KTVU confirms that the sexually explicit behavior was between "a girl and a boy."
