Twin Peaks / Shooting: A 24-year-old man was murdered last night around 3 a.m. at the lookout point on Twin Peaks. The victim was with a group of friends, exchanged words with someone who was part of a different group also parked up there hanging out, and was shot by someone in the other group. Oakland / Hit and Run: Around 4:40 a.m. this morning, a man was struck and killed on the 880 freeway after his car struck a median and he got out of the car. The other passenger in the car involved in the solo crash, a female who may have suffered a broken leg, fled the scene before police arrived. According to police, the two may have had an altercation inside the car that caused them to crash into the concrete divider. The man then got out of the car, ran to the other side of the freeway, and was struck as he tried to run back. Multiple other cars may have struck the victim, and collided with each other during the chaos, and police are still looking for witnesses and any other cars that may have been involved.
