Teen Joy Rides Through Downtown S.F. With Dachshund

SF Appeal has details on quite a thrilling story that came up on the wire yesterday afternoon involving a 15-year-old girl who was pulled over on Wednesday for driving recklessly through downtown.

The teen, who is obviously unlicensed, reportedly drove her excessively speeding Volvo the wrong way up Pine, Sutter, and Sansome, and an unknown witness claims she hit a car in the process. Police caught up with the driver at Third and Market Streets.

There was a Dachshund in the car, who was taken into the custody of Animal Care and Control.

The driver might face criminal charges and is undergoing a mental evaluation.
