San Francisco's first homicide of 2011 occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Tenderloin at Turk and Taylor Streets. The victim has been identified as Larry Lacy, aged 20, who was sitting with a man on the sidewalk at around 3:20 p.m. when the man shot him several times at close range and ran. Lacy was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and later died. Police are still investigating the shooting and are asking for witnesses to come forward.
