When last we checked in with Silent Knight, the regal-looking Sausalito sea lion injured by a shotgun blast in early December, his Vets were optimistic that he could make it back out in to open waters. Yesterday, Marine Mammal Center veterinarian Bill Van Bonn announced via the AP on CBS5 that Mr. Knight, now completely blind, will be unable to return to the wild and is looking to be adopted by either an aquarium, a wildlife care facility or other sanctuary. We'd keep him, but our landlord doesn't allow pets.
