December 2010 Blizzard Timelapse from Michael Black on Vimeo.

If you're like us and you've seen snow actually fall only but a fistful of times in your life - it sure looked magical falling gently outside our hotel suite's window in Northstar earlier this year! - you might be a bit perplexed at all this blizzard bellyaching. (It seems to be snowing a lot on the other coast. People are nutting over it, and rightfully so.) Michael Black's time-lapse video, however, puts it all in perspective. Beginning yesterday and ending at 1:30 a.m. today, his video shows 32 inches of snow falling in Belmar, NJ in a short span of time. Yikes, that sure looks chilly.
